Fire line must be in good condition and ensure that the required standards for water consumption for fire fighting needs. Checking their performance must be carried out at least twice a year (spring and autumn).
Fire hydrants must be in good condition, and in the winter should be warmed and cleared of snow and ice. Parking of vehicles on fire hydrant manhole covers is prohibited. The roads and the entrances to the source of fire water supply should ensure passage of fire equipment to them at any time of the year.
When disconnecting the water supply stations and hydrants or reducing pressure in the network below the required need to notify this unit of fire protection.
Electric fire pumps should be provided with uninterrupted power supply.
We hydrants and ponds (water sources), as well as the direction of movement to them appropriately marked to be installed (the bulk with a lamp or flat, made with the use of reflective coatings). They must be clearly marked figures indicating the distance to the water source.
To accommodate the primary fire extinguishing equipment, non-mechanized tools and fire equipment in the production and storage facilities are not equipped with internal plumbing and automatic fire extinguishing, as well as on the territory of enterprises (organizations) that have no external fire line, or the removal of buildings (structures) outdoor technological installations of these companies over a distance of 100 m from the outdoor fire water sources should be equipped with fire boards. The required number of fire panels and their types are determined depending on the type of premises, buildings (structures) and external process plants by explosion and fire hazard, limit the protected area of a fire shield and po¬zhara class in accordance with Table 3 of Annex 3 01-03 .
Fire boards are equipped with primary means pozha¬rotusheniya, non-mechanized tools and fire inven¬tarem in accordance with Table 4 of Annex 3 01-03.
